Welcome to Sonoma Baptist Church.

We are a small congregation located in the Northern Nevada town of Winnemucca, and we are thankful for the unique opportunity God has given us to serve Christ in a rural community. While we may be small in number, we are rich in fellowship, committed to the truth of Scripture, and eager to see the gospel make an impact in our homes and throughout our region.

When you join us for a Sunday morning worship service, you will find a church family that is warm, welcoming, and genuinely glad you are there. Our atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and our attire is casual—but our approach to worship and the Word of God is anything but casual. We believe the Bible is the inspired, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God, and we center our gatherings around the faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture. Our desire each week is to exalt Jesus Christ, sing biblically rich songs, pray together, and sit under the clear proclamation of God’s Word.

Whether you are a seasoned believer looking for a church home, a family seeking solid biblical teaching, or someone who is simply curious about who Jesus is and what Christianity is all about, you are welcome here.
